Honey pancakes

Mild pure bee honey

Our honey bear has been created for younger honey fans (and the young at heart!) to enjoy tasty treats.

Overview

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and honey together.
    Add the milk, then the melted butter, cooled to lukewarm.
  3. Gradually stir the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt)
  4. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly thick, then leave to rest for 5 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and pour in about half a ladleful of batter per pancake. When bubbles start to appear on the surface (1.5–2 minutes), flip them over and continue cooking for 1 minute.
  6. Repeat the process until you run out of batter.
  7. Make pancakes in different sizes to create shapes (bees, teddy bears, etc.) and decorate them with fresh fruit before drizzling them with Miel Ourson Lune de Miel®

Tips & Variations

For even fluffier pancakes, replace 50ml of the milk with 1 tablespoon of plain yoghurt, or leave the batter to rest for 10 minutes before cooking: this will make the texture lighter.
